NEW PLANS, NEW OPENINGS, NEW LOTS OF STUFF!!!

I have been WAY too busy to even blog! Okay so for all of you newbies.. MMP has a new plan!

AS OF 11/1 no apts after 5... Daylight savings took that time away :(

Lil Sprout- has now changed! It used to be age required for this (2-4 years) but now its "one year" plan! This can be for any child/teen/family (up to 4) for one year, (5 sessions included and 50.00 print credit for each session)! That is a $625.00 value for 300.00!

I created this to fit clients in that had used me once but then wanted to continue using me every couple of months and also for 6 month olds that miss out on the Green Bean (first year) so they actually can start their plan at any age! If you have had one session with me and want to add this plan, you can purchase this plan for 225.00 and have 4 sessions left to jump on in! If you are coming from pean n pod plan, then you can jump in at a reduced price aswell!

I am so booked and have so many rainouts that Im going through my dates and Im going to fit in as many bookings as possible to fit my overflow and rainouts and additonal inquired sessions! So I have added new dates to each day i was booked and have allowed for overflow bookings to book! See below a list of dates from Nov-Dec 2009 that are booked. I have left blank the dates that are available that I have added. These are listed today at 4:30 and it is first come first serve! After that I will not take anymore bookings till 2010!

Im already booked for March, April, May and June for Weddings in 2010! If you are looking for a photograph adn considering me, please get with me asap since I am only taking 2 per month at most! I cant wait till wedding season is here!!!

Since I have an overload of session request for Fall Portraits and alot of you missed out on my once a season mini session for fall, Im going to be a sweet photographer. Alot of sessions request are for family portraits/children portraits for christmas cards. So I declare the months of September-November Free pack of Christmas card month!

Okay so that means for your traditional session you will recieve 20 free 4x6 Christmas cards of the design of your choice! I have tons and tons of designs and will be posting them soon. I will only be shooting these on Saturday afternoons so that means only 2 a saturday since I am already booked up till the end of October with other sessions throughout the weekend.

So.. Lets recap..

Normal Session fee, 2 hour shooting in the streets or field shots (choose one location of your choice) shots of family and individual shots and get one free set of 4x6 christmas cards of your choice! This is a full session not a mini session so u pay more but get more shots and way more time!

THE RULES:

Each Session is $25.00. You will receive 2 5x7s and a set of wallets. You are allowed 10 min for each session, this means that things will go quickly. Please make sure that your child is ready to go (clean face, hair brushed etc..) once you arrive. Please let your children know that this will be super fun so they wont be scared and only take 2 pictures in the 10 min they have. Make sure they are very excited! Ms. Katie is super fun!!

Also, please arrive at least 5 min early to find me and let me know you are there since I time each session. within 2 weeks you will receive 15 or so proofs online. You have 10 days to review and purchase any prints over your free prints.

I only do this super mini session twice a year so please let me know ASAP if you are not attending so i can fill the position with the wait list. For those of you on the wait list or that didn't get to book. I will be having fall street sessions throughout Sept-Nov at full price but this will include one free set of Christmas cards. I absolutely Love my clients!! Since I have had such an amazing response to my September 12th Mini Session I have decided to extend my session to one more weekend, THIS SATURDAY! I had some clients on a waiting list for the previous session that are now booked for this session but I still have available appointments! This will be your last chance to book to recieve the Super Mini Session Price of 25 and 2 5x7s and wallets! My normal mini session fee is 45.00 and my normal session fee is $65 which includes no print credits! This is the best time to get your christmas portraits done, so get out the jackets and hats and lets pretend its fall!!

I have abosolutely had the worst week EVER!! I am unreachable during night unless you call me at 601-209-4027! No worries if you hear a man answering, just my sweet husband taking my calls since my iphone is smashed to pieces and dosnt work. Since this is my fifth iphone in 3 years, I am no officially changing to a blackberry! I feel a little less cooler but atleast my clients will reach me and I wont have any missed sessions and no missed calls!! I think thats a win win situations! I appologize if you havnt been able to get me this week.. no phone = no contact so always e-mail me.. but of course my computer had 10 trojan viruses and is now in my car to be looked at.. really could anything get worse? No worries clients, your portraits are always stored on my detatchable harddrive and online. :) Okay so this is my photograph for today:

Its Time again for Fall Mini Sessions!

One day only !


This year I will be shooting Fall/Christmas mini-Sessions in downtown Brandon on September 12.

For $25, you get:

-10 minute session

-(2) 5x7’s

- a set of wallets (8).

You will also have the option to order additional prints!



If you refer a friend who books a session, and they mention your name, you get an additional 5x7 as a "print thank you"!

I will be shooting from 10-11:00 and 2-6:00.

Please email or call to reserve your 10 minute session.

First come first serve! Up to 4 subjects per session and remember only 10 min allowed!!



Please plan to arrive early, to allow you time to get the children out of the car, and get to the photo location.

Each session will only be allowed 10 minutes. If you are 5 minutes late, then you get a 5 minute session. We have to do our best to stay on schedule, to make it fair for everyone.

Due to the location, your child will need to be able to sit on his own, unless you plan to be in the photo holding him.


This is a great time to get photos for Christmas Cards, which we’ll be posting soon!

Silly Summer Sessions

We cant go through the summer and back to school without a little fun! This is a perfect session for your wall decor! These photos will be shot cropped to the face and edited in Black and White and each little one will have the chance to make their expressions and attitudes known! These look great in large square sizes to hange side by side or three in a row!

This session is a "short and sweet" session that last through August and will be shot during the week after 5:30 since its indoor shoots. I only book two each night so email me for what appointments are left!!

$45.00 gets you portraits, online proofs and free 10x10 of that silly smile of your choice!

Going to see my baby brother Graduate highschool tonight, so I guess this is a fitting time to start my Senior Promos!!!

Here are a couple of events that MMP is involved in that you can participate in and help us keep the fight up against domestic violence!!

The first is a fundraiser that I will try to do every year with my own talents to help raise money for Heather's T.R.E.E. I am very involved in this charity and will continue to give donations each year to help this little non profit that Heather's Mother has began and watch it grow into a full blown Tree of Life!

The second is an event at Hal Mals that is thrown by the Jackson Free Press each year and I was lucky enough to get involved in last year. I go to represent Heather's T.R.E.E. To help them raise money by holding a "photo booth" at the event to raise money for the JFP to donate towards this cause! I love the JFP and am grateful for their continued intrest in helping women in MS.

Baby Time!!

This is one of my first maternity shoots for 2009! Turned out fantastic! This is just a few i had time to put up! They had great couple maternity photos too! Once i start editing ill put a few of those on my site!! I have lots more bellies to shoot, just need them to keep growning!!

I was super happy to get to see old friends and actually shoot a wedding for one! Here is a sneak peek of Laylas wedding in March! Super fun and turned out well even though it was yucky outside!!!

Drum Roll Please....

My New site is just about to be released! I am very excited about it! I have hired Carrie Ann of Carrie Ann Photography in Arlington, VT to redo all of my designs! She is an amazing photographer and designer so, please call her for anything you need done!! She has been awesome with all of my changing around and putting my ideas exactly out like I envisioned them! You can see a mock logo above on the splash header of my blog but this is just a draft! My real logo, splash page & Blog will be released in the next week! Im so excited!!

I am slammed with easter portraits and weddings in the next few weeks but I am planning a Heather's Tree benefit in Mid April. "Pics for Pooches" wil be the theme and I am just now planning the small one day fundraiser but it will be a great time to come out, get free photos of your lovely animals and raise money for Heather's Tree for the benefit in October to benefit the MS Coalition Against Domestic Violence!! Thanks for everyone that supports us!

Valentines!

I was lucky enough to spend half the day with two people for engagement photos, Temple and Todd! It was a blast and a super easy shoot and couldn't of asked for better subjects to shoot! I even had a pup in the mix and they were great! Here is a sneek peek! It will take me a few days to get them on my proofing for them to view since I shot at least 400!! Im going to have to pick wisely since all are good! Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day Night! Remember Lolli Pop Pics return next weekend and continue until the 28th!

February we are doing lolli pop shots which will be in a field with your choice of red or pink TUTU and Round rainbow lolli pop! These will be cute funky pictures for Valentines!! For Boys Im going to do Red wagon photos in the field with funky post processing! These will be really bright cute photographs! See attached flyer!!!




March, I am mostly booked up completely for easter pictures which I am doing March 7, 14, 21 and 28th! Please check with me on availability! I have kept the 28th open for overflow. You have the choice of live animals or a more modern field scenery shot. I want these to be fresh and funky aswell as classy for formal easter portriture. You can have both settings and one clothing change if you would like both styles.




I am now booking my 2010 Senior Portraits, 48 free wallets with any portraits booked before June to keep me from too much going on!

I have several weddings booked for this year but do believe I can take on atleast 2 more between mini sessions and my Heather's Tree Fundraising that I will be doing all throughout 2009 for the big Heather Spencer Soul Shine Memorial Concert in October.

Wedding Season is here!!

Brides are already slamming me with dates! I am elated that they haven chosen my art of photography over so many others! I will do my best to make their day last forever in portraits! Six years ago, me and my husband eloped, we couldnt wait to get married ;!!) So I think that is why I love covering weddings and making sure I capture each detail of every wedding I cover! I am also looking at getting new equipment soon, which the ones I have are fantastic but there are always better and bigger things out there!! Hope everyone had a great holiday!
